PALMDALE – Palmdale High School is offering a $200 reward for information leading to those responsible for a break-in over the holiday weekend that caused an estimated $15,000 in loss and damages. Burglars broke into seven or eight portable classrooms, prying loose metal security-window grates, and stole laptop computers and projectors. “It looked like they were going after technological devices such as projectors and laptops,” Principal Eric Riegert said. “You can use projectors for Super Bowl parties and use them for big-screen TVs. They are very high quality.” The break-in was discovered Sunday by the school’s football coaching staff, Riegert said. 160Want local news?Sign up for the Localist and stay informed Something went wrong.
