Categories: Letters to the Editor, Opinion The 102nd Assembly District now has a representative in Albany, but will he be representing all of us or just the Republicans and his close buddies? No secret here; I’m not a big fan of Mr. Chris Tague. But I’m hoping he will put partisan politics aside and work for all of his constituents. I truly want to give him a chance and see him do well, for if Mr. Tague does do some good, it should benefit the district that he represents. Mr. Tague was sworn in recently and one of the first statements out of his mouth has me thinking if I’ve been right about him all along. Assemblyman Tague stated: “I’m excited to get down to work on behalf of my friends, neighbors and constituents.” Now, they’re just words and maybe I’m making a big deal about nothing. But I have always said, Chris Tague — good for his friends, bad for the rest of us. For Mr. Tague to be successful, he must always remember his constituents come first.Jerry FioreSummitMore from The Daily Gazette:EDITORIAL: Find a way to get family members into nursing homesEDITORIAL: Beware of voter intimidationEDITORIAL: Urgent: Today is the last day to complete the censusEDITORIAL: Thruway tax unfair to working motoristsFoss: Should main downtown branch of the Schenectady County Public Library reopen?
