Barcelona are interested in Chelsea prodigy Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to the Daily Mirror. The midfielder, 16, is also said to have attracted interest from both Manchester clubs as he is yet to sign a contract at Stamford Bridge. Both The Guardian and Daily Mail say Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas’ recent comments to a Portuguese radio station did not go down well with the club’s hierarchy.Villas-Boas is said to have annoyed Chelsea officials. The Mirror and Sun both include pictures of Jose Mourinho in London, prompting speculation that the ex-Chelsea boss could return to his former club or succeed Harry Redknapp at Tottenham. The Sun believe Mourinho viewed five properties in the Knightsbridge and Mayfair areas and ate out in Chelsea.Chelsea’s contract talks with Didier Drogba have stalled after the player said he wanted an annual salary of £6m, say the Mail.Meanwhile, The Sun claim Walter Samuel’s refusal to sign a new deal with Inter Milan will spark a three-way fight for his signature between Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea. The Argentine centre-back, 33, is out of contract this summer but it is claimed he will demand £90,000 a week in wages. His agent Barry O’Connor said: “Ideally Walter would like to come to London but he will listen to all offers.”The Sun also say Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has been putting in extra training sessions after being overlooked by England. Finally, The Independent pick up on a QPR website interview with club chairman Tony Fernandes, who has pledged to stay on if Rangers are relegated.Fernandes said: “I’m not going to run away. I started an airline with two planes, been through SARS, bird flu, a Tsunami, an earthquake, terrorism and airports closed for seven days.“Relegation isn’t going to scare me. It’s a long-term project and Rome wasn’t built in a day.“Along the way there will be hiccups. But when you look back in 15 and 20 years’ time, we will be proud of what we achieved.”Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebook

The Galapagos Islands are well-known for their expansive population of species. About 80% of the land birds, 97% of the reptiles and land mammals, and more than 30% of the plants are endemic, which means “belonging exclusively or confined to a particular place”.Seldom in nature can you be approached by a wild animal. Bartolome (Galapagos) GC1KGT8 can bring us up close and personal to nature. The island is also a geologist’s playground—so it makes perfect sense that a truly wonderful EarthCache is here. The little island, Bartolome, is only 1.2 square kilometers (297 acres). Rocky pillars of basalt called “tuff cones” jut out from the surface of the island. These pillars are remnants of hardened fallout of a volcanic eruption. One of the great rewards of GC1KGT8 is the stunning postcard view of the prominent Pinnacle Rock, the largest tuff cone on the island. On the path to the beach, just offshore, you will find a large volcanic crater that is encapsulating. If you brought your snorkeler you are in for a treat! According to the cache page the northern beach is open for swimming and the beaches of Bartolome Island are filled with fluorescent fish, playful sea lions, and even whale sharks! Lava tubes: Formed by flowing rivers of lava whose outer layer cools and solidifies quicker than the core (creating a skin). The liquid lava continues to flow through the middle, hollowing out an area creating a tube like structure.2.) Spatter cones: These cones are either a deep red, gleaming black or intense green. The cones are formed when the pressure of gases below the magma in an active lava flow push upward. The gases escape carrying big pieces of lava into the air. The outside of the lava cools down and turns black, and when it hits the ground, the lava ball bursts open releasing the hot magma inside.3.) Lava bombs: The outcome of a spatter cone. The outside surface of lava bombs are smooth, but the inside of the lava bomb bursts open with broken fragments, creating A’a lava. The broken lava is very runny. However, once the gases all escape, the lava will start to slow, creating pahoehoe lava. Here’s what our fellow cachers had to say about their experience:One of the most beautiful landscapes in the Galapagos so far! What an awesome trip Elm77 and I are having. The climb was a breeze for me and the view spectacular. Our guide knew a lot about the geology of the area so I learned a lot! Answers and picture will be sent as soon as I get home. Thanks for the lesson! –PomwoofLast year on my 40th birthday I made myself the present of a Galapagos dive trip. And by doing so a dream came true. As a group of 16 divers from Switzerland we were able to charter the “Galapagos Aggressor” for our trip.On the second day of diving after two dives at Punta Carrion we set foot on Bartolomé Island for a land tour. Of course I had already hoped at home that I would get the opportunity to visit one of the few caches around the Galapagos Archipelago.I enjoyed the hiking a lot, admired the view from the top and even had the chance to see sea lions, penguins, Darwin’s finches, a lizard and a blue-footed booby – part of the animals on land, part while riding the zodiac. –HaiopaiaThank you boiler for cooking up this hot EarthCache. Is that name a coincidence? I think not. Check out the beautiful photography from geocachers who have visited Bartolome Island and in the gallery below! Swimming here is not welcome, and not as friendly. White tip sharks have been known to enter the waters and the cache owner Boiler warns of hostile ghost crabs in that area.

Productivity is measured by the outcomes you generate. That measurement is both qualitative and quantitive.Hard WorkMany people should be working a lot harder. If you are not doing enough work, with enough effort, and over a long enough time, you may not be producing the result you want because you aren’t doing the work necessary. You might be lazy, but you might also be lacking the discipline to block your time and avoid the distractions that prevent you from working hard. You may also not yet have decided on a purpose or meaning that would drive your effort, something you should do now, right now, even if it changes over time. Most people could stand to work harder.Smart WorkOther people believe the key to producing results is to work smarter. They spend their time trying to find ways to hack their work, to make it easier, to automate it, or to do things with less effort. A lot of hackers spend more time working on their hacks than they do on the work and only later discover that they would have been better off doing the work than spending infinitely more time on workarounds. While there is nothing wrong with trying to be efficient, it can’t come at the expense of your effectiveness, and you can’t allow yourself to become addicted to trying to hack your way to great results in endeavors that require you do the work. Most would do better by doing the right work instead of trying to work smarter. The Right WorkIf you want to be productive and reach your goals, doing the right work is more important than how hard or smart you work. Some tasks show up in your world that have nothing whatsoever to do with your goals and initiatives, email being one of them, as is most of what shows up there. Even though you may have to complete some tasks that are not going to move the needle as it pertains to your goals, you cannot allow those things to crowd out the right work, the work that produces the results you want. The right work is that small subset of tasks and projects that move you closer to your goals and outcomes. If you are going to work hard, put that effort against these few tasks. If you want to work smarter, make good decisions about what these tasks are, and give yourself a fighting chance by eliminating the interruptions and distractions that steal your time.

Unmukt Chand is lucky. The skipper of the India U-19 team has become a national phenomenon overnight after his team’s World Cup win in Townsville. This is in stark contrast to 2008. Despite trouncing South Africa in the World Cup final in Malaysia, the country’s U-19 squad led by an enthusiastic Virat Kohli did not make it to the front pages of national dailies. However, the world’s largest men’s magazine Men’s Health saw the potential in these young boys and picked out Kohli and Pradeep Sangwan for their first-ever fashion shoot.Says Kohli, who has comfortably slipped into the shoes of Team India’s go-to man and become the vice-captain of its ODI squad, “We were starstruck teenagers then(in 2008). Though I was a tad nervous, we thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. In hindsight, that episode with MH eased me into the limelight.”The accompanying story throws up the question: how does a simple boy from West Delhi take to the limelight? The answer: like a fish does to water.Kohli, who features on the cover of Men’s Health’s bi-annual 15-page Guide to Style section in the September 2012 issue, discusses how men can make small tweaks in their dressing to turn heads, without ever crossing the line of masculinity or audacity. “A fit body gives you confidence,” he says.”And there’s nothing more impressive than a great attitude, which you can wear on your sleeve. But you’ll have to remember the difference between being rude and being confident,” Kohli adds.Jamal Shaikh, the editorial director of Men’s Health, says, “This is Kohli’s third shoot with Men’s Health India in four years, though this is the first time he’s gracing the cover.advertisementWe’re a real man’s magazine, and Virat’s success story and sense of style are very achievable for the common Indian youngster. That’s what makes him an even bigger star in our eyes.”
